MY Journey

I am a former professional footballer with a career that lasted more than 20 years and I devoted my life to a sport I truly love. I shared changing rooms and pitches with some of the best players in the world and worked with managers and coaches who pushed me while meeting many people who supported me along the way.

My career was the one I dreamt of as a boy. Walking out at a sold out Highbury under the lights for my Arsenal debut is a moment I will never forget. We won and I both saved and scored a penalty and my family and friends were there which is a memory I will always cherish.

I was a young professional at Arsenal and part of The Invincibles. I was also in the record breaking Reading FC side that won the Championship with a record points total. I played in Europe for Millwall and Hibernian and featured in a Scottish Cup Final and the Indian Super League Final.

My career took me across England and around the world, spending time in Belgium, Israel, India and Scotland. I made sacrifices to grow as a professional, leaving my family and friends to embrace new cultures while pushing myself beyond my comfort zone.

After retiring, I faced setbacks, heartbreaks and disappointments in both life and work. I tried different paths, searching for focus and a purpose in sport that would allow me to make a real difference to others.

I wanted to build something meaningful. Something powerful, life changing, rewarding and unforgettable.
